It is an initiative to sell collectible NFTs worldwide and use the proceeds to promote urban development in cooperation with the DAO community (purchasers of NFTs) and civic groups organized by local residents living in the areas to be supported, so that people living in those areas can lead better lives.
The first phase of the Open Town Project will be launched on an experimental basis in the village of Karungu, Uganda. This village has various problems such as difficulty in obtaining clean water, children cannot go to school due to poverty, and access to medical services is difficult.
In order to solve these problems, this open town project will collaborate with Faith Angels Ministry, a Community Based Organization of local residents in Karungu village, to develop the town with the proceeds from the sale of NFT. Not only the Faith Angels Ministry, but also the people who purchase NFTs will have the right to participate in the community's vote and reflect their own ideas in the development of the city.
The project is independent of the central government of Uganda and decisions are made with a high degree of transparency by the DAO community (NFT holders) and the Ugandan population.
Savanna Kidz NFT holders will be able to hold $OPENTOWN in governance tokens and will be entitled to participate in the voting for the Open Town project.
Savanna Kidz NFT purchasers will be entitled to receive 3,000 $OPENTOWN tokens immediately after purchase. After that, they can receive 4 $OPENTOWN tokens every day for 12 years.
These governance tokens can be used for voting and to work with key members of Faith Angel Ministry to engage in the development of Open Town through discussions and suggestions.
